Comments on Stream Live TV on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch
Though I doubt I'll ever get an iPad, etc., I love reading about the technology. And I'm glad we have such technology. It's all exciting to me, seeing what we couldn't imagine when I was a little girl now part of everyday life. Super.
I have an iPod (not touch, however) - and an iPhone. I'm so impressed with Apple stuff. But like drbj - I'll reserve my final approbation for the app that cooks dinner - and while at it - some windows need washing too! Should be a snap for the folks who are really on the job at Apple and beyond. haha
Thanks, billy - another great introduction to the latest in technology!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If only I could have bought the stock the day before the announcement. Great hub as always. Amber:)
WEll, it gets more high tech every now and then, but I wear contact leans now and I need a bigger TV hehe, screen thats it. Thanks Billy, Maita
I love techie stuff. This was a great read.
drbj funny stuff - reminds of the iPhone shots on youtube that they used to fry an egg!
I agree Sheila it is astonishing how quickly technology becomes humdrum or just a core way of out daily life - the computer, the internet, cell phones, smart phones and the iPad - what is next?
Nellieanna they do seem to be able to anything but it would be nice to be able to do really useful stuff :) I have an iPod which makes me wonder how did I listen to music beforehand - it is easy to take it all for granted.
Hi Amber yep it would have been nice too own the stock on Wednesday! I guess is the trick to think what the next Apple contract will be for and who with! Let us what you work out. :)
Maita funny stuff - I guess you want a bigger iPad now!
Glad you liked it Janny :)
Ipad, this maybe my wish for Christmas.
Watching TV while blogging, great hub.
Sounds like a great plan Ign!
Very cool read! I was going to get an iphone but I decided to pick up a blackberry instead for now. I am a guy that loves his gadgets but I can't justify the money right now. Great technology though.
Thanks for the feedback Rombie - it is easy to get caught up with technology and next minute you have extended yourself - a wise decision. Prices should be more competitive with all the new smart phones on the horizon.
Thanks for the useful information, i have been thinking about getting an I Pad lately.
Hi Coolmon - they look pretty cool don't they - I am thinking the next generation for me after the iPhone 4.0 to see what the advancements in iPad will be.
I have a data plan on my iPhone which is limited. How much data will WinTV Extend use? - well I read the answer to this on their hauppauge web site and it said 450mb for 10 hrs so I used it for a total of just 6 hrs knowing that should be under my plan allowance (400mb) - but I just got a bill for $ 620.00 from my 3G provider it uses 275mb per hr (275 @ $0.50c per mb ( charged if you go over my plan ) =$137.00 per hr- so not good to use on 3G network unless you have a massive plan I am now having to pay off my bill and have not heard back from hauppauge about the answer on their web site - I can only hope that others will see this post before trying it like I did

I plan to purchase an iPad as soon as an app is available that will cook dinner.
